Nicole Mikanik, MAPP

Research Manager

Nicole Mikanik is the Research Manager for the Human Sexuality and Well-Being Project. She oversees project administration and coordinates as well as conducts research activities. She holds a Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Queen’s University in Canada. She currently also serves as a teaching assistant in the Department of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. Her professional background spans research, education, communication, and administration. She is deeply passionate about helping individuals and communities thrive, and is interested in designing and validating clinical interventions to enhance sexual well-being. She plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology in the future.
