Research Specialist

Sabrina Sims earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) from The College of New Jersey in 2024. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a research assistant for the Sexual Health and Reproductive Education Lab. During her final year, she completed her senior psychology thesis, in which she conducted a quantitative study focused on depressive symptoms, embodiment, and experiences of sexual pleasure. Her research interests lie in the intersections of mental health and sexual well-being, specifically focusing on the relationships between psychological disorders, experiences of the body, and sexuality. In the future, she plans to earn her PhD in Clinical Psychology and pursue a career in both research and therapy.
